Traditional major events and attractions

There are different events taking place in the Prešov region throughout the year. Festivals, races, fairs, ceremonies, meetings, sport competitions and contests in various traditional and untraditional disciplines. This booklet describes some that have several years long tradition or are unique in the region. There is a plenty of traditional market fairs organizes annually in the most towns accross the region, however we can not list all of them. The most interesting events in Prešov region are included in the booklet together with the information center contact where you can obtain further information.
