Department of IA/MA of the ROP

Department of the Intermediary Authority under the Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Programme is an independent organisational unit under the direct competition of the President of the Presov Self-Governing Region.

The extent of department delegated competitions is thematically oriented toward the support of regional development and tourism, village renewal and second and third class road renewal.

On the implementation level, the extent of delegated competitions is defined as follows:

• Cooperation concerning the drawing up and publishing of calls for project proposals;
• Registration of project proposals and cooperation concerning the evaluation process and selection of registered proposals;
• Preparation and audit of contracts resulting from project proposal selection;
• Archival activities related to documents containing accounting in printed as well as electronic form according to Slovak and EU legislation;
• Gathering of data related to implementation as needed for management, monitoring, auditing and evaluation purposes;
• Audit of co-financed service and goods supply, the use of benefiter declared expenses and its accordance with current System of Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund Management as well as with Slovak and EU legislation;
• Securing processes for the gathering of information related to procedures and executed verifications, dealing with expenditure for the sake of certification as needed by the Certifying Authority;
• Cooperating in the process of Annual and Operational implementation report preparation as well as in the process of Final report on the implementation of respective priority axis or thematic area of support in co-ordinance with the Managing authority requirements.
